La primera cosa que la Escritura nos dice sobre el poder del Espíritu y de la mente es que la mente carnal no concuerda con el Espíritu. La segunda es que la mente espiritual es la mente natural del hombre renovado por el Espíritu de Dios. Esto nos lleva a la tercera:
3. El destino de ambos lo carnal y la mente espiritual.
a. Para la mente carnal el destino es la muerte. Por ello se entiende la muerte espiritual - la separación de Dios - para siempre. Mientras que el hombre carnal vive en esta tierra su alma está muerta, está en un estado de separación de Dios. Si el hombre enfoca sólo en las cosas de la carne, en este mundo, después de la muerte física no será capaz de enfocarse en Dios. Uno no puede elegir lo carnal hoy y esperar que se encuentre salvación después de su tiempo en esta tierra. Sea lo que sea, lo que la mente elige, eso seguirá adelante, y adelante, y adelante, para siempre, sin fin. Dios no violará la mente del hombre ni forzará que alguien lo elija. La elección es del hombre; él / ella puede elegir la carne y la muerte o elegir Él y tener vida eterna. Vivir hoy y para siempre.
"El hombre que se aparta de la forma de entender permanecerá en la congregación de los muertos" -Proverbios 21:16 -.
"Porque la paga del pecado es muerte, mas la dádiva de Dios es vida eterna en Cristo Jesús nuestro Señor " - Romanos 6:23
"Y cuando estabais muertos en vuestros delitos y pecados" - Efesios 2:1
b. El destino de la mente espiritual, en cambio, es la vida y la paz. Esto es todo lo contrario de la muerte. La mente espiritual está llena de significado y propósito; de fiabilidad; de alegría y regocijo; de conocer y comprender a Dios. La mente espiritual está en paz con Dios porque sabe que sus pecados son perdonados y aceptados por Dios. La persona con una mente espiritual habita en la paz de Dios y tiene la paz de Dios y experimentan día a día la guía de Dios en sus vidas. La persona con la mente espiritual conoce y tiene la seguridad de una vida eterna con Dios.
"De cierto, de cierto os digo: El que oye mi palabra, y cree al que me envió, tiene vida eterna y no vendrá a condenación, mas ha pasado de muerte a vida" Juan 5:24.
"Estas cosas os he hablado, para que en mí que pueda tener paz. En el mundo tendréis tribulación, pero confiad: yo he vencido al mundo "- Juan 16:33.
"En el camino de la justicia es la vida, y en su camino no hay muerte" - Proverbios 12:28.
"Tú guardarás en completa paz a aquel cuyo pensamiento en ti persevera; porque en ti ha confiado" - Isaías 26:3.
"Fíate de Jehová perpetuamente, porque en Dios el Señor, tenemos refugio eterno" - Isaías 26:4

The Mind of Christ 4b
The first thing the Scripture tells us concerning the power of the Spirit and the mind is that the carnal mind is at odds with the Spirit. The second is that the spiritual mind is the natural mind of man renewed by the Spirit of God. That brings us to the third:
3. The fate of both the carnal and the spiritual minds.
a. For the carnal mind the fate is death. By this is meant spiritual death – separation from God – forever. While the carnal man lives on this earth his/her soul is dead, it is in a state of separation from God. If man has his/her focus only on the things of the flesh, on this world, after physical death will not be able to focus on God. One cannot choose the flesh today and expect to be saved after their time on this earth ends. Whatever the mind chooses, will continue on, and on, and on, forever without end. God will not violate man’s mind and force him or her to choose Him. The choice is man’s; he/she can choose flesh and death or choose Him and have eternal life. Be alive now and forever.
“The man that wandereth out of the way of understanding shall remain in the congregation of the dead” – Proverbs 21:16.
“For the wages of sin is death; but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our lord”- Romans 6:23
“And you were dead in your trespasses and sins”- Ephesians 2:1
b. The fate of the spiritual mind, on the other hand, is life and peace. This is the very opposite of death. The spiritual mind if full of meaning and purpose; of assurance; of joy and rejoicing; of knowing and understanding God. The spiritual mind is at peace with God because he/she knows that their sins are forgiven and they are acceptable to God. The person with a spiritual mind dwells in the the peace of God and has the peace of God experiencing day by day the guidance of God in their lives. The person with the spiritual mind knows of and has the assurance of eternal life with God.
“Truly, truly, I say to you, he who hears my words, and believes Him who sent Me, has eternal life, and does not come into judgment, but has passed out of death into life” John 5:24.
“These things I have spoken to you, that in me you might have peace. In the world you shall have tribulation: but be of good cheer; I have overcome the world”- John 16:33.
“In the way of righteousness is life; and in its pathway there is no death” – Proverbs 12:28.
“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You: because he trusts in You” – Isaiah 26:3.
“Trust in the Lord forever, for in God the Lord, we have an everlasting Rock” – Isaiah 26:4.
