SOMBRAS DEL ANTIGUO TESTAMENTO Y LA VENIDA DE CRISTO

En el libro de Hebreos, los puntos tratados son que el sistema de adoración del Antiguo Pacto es una sombra reemplazado por Jesucristo. Así que la Navidad es la sustitución de las sombras con la realidad. Hebreos 8:5 dice que los sacerdotes "sirven de bosquejo y sombra de las cosas celestiales".
Tomemos en consideración seis sombras de manera que la venida de Cristo reemplaza a la realidad.
1. La sombra del sacerdocio del Antiguo Pacto. "Y los sacerdotes antiguos, por un lado, existía en mayor número, porque se les impidió por la muerte de continuar, pero, por otro lado, porque permanece para siempre, tiene un sacerdocio inmutable" (Hebreos 7:23-24).
2. La sombra del sacrificio de la Pascua. "Limpiad la levadura vieja para que seáis nueva masa, como sois sin levadura. Porque Cristo, nuestra Pascua, ha sido sacrificado "(1 Corintios 5:7).
3. La sombra del tabernáculo y el templo. "Pero el punto principal de lo que se ha dicho es éste: tenemos tal sumo sacerdote, que ha sentado a la diestra del trono de la Majestad en los cielos, un ministerio en el santuario, y el tabernáculo, que levantó el Señor y no el hombre "(Hebreos 8:1-2).
"Respondió Jesús y les dijo: Destruid este templo, y en tres días lo levantaré." Los judíos por lo tanto, dijeron: "En cuarenta y seis años fue edificado este templo, ¿y tú lo levantarás en tres días? Pero él hablaba del templo de su cuerpo "(Juan 2:19-21).
4. La sombra de la circuncisión. "La circuncisión nada es, y sin circuncisión nada es, sino lo que importa es guardar los mandamientos de Dios" (1 Corintios 7:19).
5. La sombra de las leyes dietéticas. "Y él les dijo: '¿Estás tan faltos de entendimiento? ¿No comprendéis que todo lo que entra en el hombre desde fuera le puede contaminar, porque no entra en su corazón, sino en el vientre y se elimina "(Así de3clared puros todos los alimentos.)" (Marcos n7: 18? -19)
6. La sombra de los días de fiesta. "Por tanto, que nadie se constituya en vuestro juez con respecto a comida o bebida, o respecto a días de fiesta, luna nueva o días de reposo - todo lo cual es sombra de lo que ha de venir, pero el cuerpo es de Cristo" ( Colosenses 2:16-17).
El significado de la Navidad es que el cuerpo es de Cristo. Es decir, el ritual religioso es como una sombra de una persona grande y gloriosa. Vamos a pasar de la sombra y mira a la persona en la cara (2 Corintios 4:6). Hijos míos, guardaos de los (religiosos) ídolos (1 Juan 5:21).

OLD TESTAMENT SHADOWS AND THE COMING OF CHRIST

In the book of Hebrews the points covered are that the Old Covenant system of worship is a shadow replaced by Jesus Christ. So Christmas is the replacement of shadows with reality. Hebrews 8:5 says that the priests “serve a copy and shadow of heavenly things.”

Let’s take in consideration six such shadows that the coming of Christ replaces with reality.

1.       The shadow of the Old Covenant priesthood. “And the former priests, on the one hand, existed in greater numbers, because they were prevented by death from continuing, but he, on the other hand, because he abides forever, holds his priesthood permanently” (Hebrews 7:23-24).

2.      The shadow of the Passover sacrifice. “Clean out the old leaven, that you may be a new lump, just as you are in fact unleavened. For Christ our Passover also has been sacrificed” (1 Corinthians 5:7).

3.      The shadow of the tabernacle and temple.  “Now the main point in what has been said is this: we have such a high priest, who has taken his seat at the right hand of the throne of the Majesty in the heavens, a ministry in the sanctuary, and in the tabernacle, which the Lord pitched, not man” (Hebrews 8:1-2).

“Jesus answered and said to them, ‘Destroy this temple, and in three days I will raise it up.’ The Jews therefore said, ‘It took forty-six years to build this temple, and will you raise it up in three days?’ But he was speaking of the temple of his body” (John 2:19-21).

4.      The shadow of circumcision.  “Circumcision is nothing, and un-circumcision is nothing, but what matters is the keeping of the commandments of God” (1 Corinthians 7:19).

5.      The shadow of dietary laws. “And he said to them, ‘Are you so lacking in understanding also? Do you not understand that whatever goes into the man from the outside cannot defile him; because it does not go into his heart, but into his stomach and is eliminated?’ (Thus he de3clared all foods clean.)” (Mark n7:18-19)

6.      The shadow of feast days. “Therefore let no one act as your judge in regard to food or drink or in respect to a festival or a new moon or a Sabbath day – things which are a mere shadow of what is to come; but the substance belongs to Christ” (Colossians 2:16-17).

The meaning of Christmas is that the substance belongs to Christ. That is, religious ritual is like a shadow of a great and glorious Person. Let’s turn from the shadow and look the Person in the face (2 Corinthians 4:6).My little children, keep yourselves from (religious) idols (1 John 5:21).
