SOLO UNO VIA ASEGURADO PARA LA SALVACION

"Yo soy el camino, y la verdad, y la vida: nadie viene al Padre, sino por mí. "Todo lo que el Padre me da, vendrá a mí, y el que viene a mí no lo echaré fuera." ... "Nadie puede venir a mí si no le fuere dado del Padre." Para "El espíritu es el que vivifica [da la vida, regenera]. la carne no cuenta para nada.

 

Jesucristo es el camino hacia...
• la presencia de Dios
• en la aceptación de Dios
• a la salvación
• en la verdadera iglesia • al cielo
• en el Reino de Dios
• a la vida eterna

         Por lo tanto, si un hombre quiere entrar donde está Dios, tienen que entrar por la puerta de Cristo. Un hombre entra redil de Dios sólo a través de la Puerta del Cristo, porque Cristo es la única puerta a la presencia de Dios. Las cosas están controladas y suceden como Dios quiere que sucedan. Se está haciendo el propósito de Dios. Él es Dios, Él gobierna y controla todas las cosas.
        La garantía para el creyente es la predestinación de Dios. Se trata de aquellos a los que "el Padre le da" que vengan a Cristo. Sin embargo, el estrés no es la predestinación, sino la garantía para el creyente. Cristo quiere que los creyentes se animen y estén seguros de su salvación. Es Dios mismo quien ha llevado los creyentes hacia Jesús, que ha movido sobre ellos y los impulsó a venir a Cristo. La voluntad soberana absoluta de Dios es lo que se hizo hincapié en la selección de los que acuden a Él para salvación. La idea de "me da" es que cada individuo elegido por Dios y dado por Dios debe ser visto como un don del amor del Padre a su Hijo.

       La persona que viene a Cristo es una persona que ha sido dado por Dios, una persona que ha experimentado la iniciativa divina. Un hombre no actúa solo y vienen a Cristo por su propio esfuerzo y energía, ni por sus obras, ya sea mental [ii] (el pensamiento o la voluntad, o el trabajo (buenas obras), iii. Un hombre es un espíritu muerto. Tanto, no puede hacer nada espiritualmente como un cuerpo muerto no puede hacer nada físicamente; el hombre natural prefiere el pecado. Por lo tanto, si un hombre con un espíritu muerto viene a Cristo, tiene que actuar en consecuencia de y dado por Dios... El Espíritu Santo vivifica el evangelio a la mente de un hombre para que él lo vea como nunca antes. Él ve, entiende, capta como Nunca antes de que "el Padre ha enviado Cristo para alimentar y nutrir el hombre (para guardar y para darle vida).

       La gran mayoría de las personas se sienten ofendidos por el hecho de que Dios llama y salva al hombre, que el hombre no se salva a sí mismo. Jesús dijo: "Ninguno puede venir a mí si no se lo han dado de mi Padre." iv

       Jesús estaba diciendo:
Þ No se puede venir a Él a menos que Dios llama y mueve a venir;
Þ No hombre pertenece a Dios, que no ha venido a Él;
Þ No hombre es salvo a menos que vengan a Él;
Þ Todos los hombres se pierden a menos que vengan a él.

       Este hecho altera grandemente la gente, porque ellos sienten que son lo suficientemente buenos, y han hecho lo suficiente bueno para ser aceptable a Dios. Pocas personas piensan que están perdidos y condenados a estar separados de Dios, por lo tanto, al oír este hecho predicado los ofende. Pero tenga en cuenta el punto crítico. La única persona salvada es una persona que ha sido elaborado a Cristo por Dios y que se ha rendido a la atracción y el movimiento de Dios en su corazón.

       Esta es la clave, de los elaborados por Dios, ¿cuántos se rinden a Él? No se deje engañar por muchos de lo que consideramos peor de todos los seres han sido llamados y se han entregado a Dios. Y muchos más que consideramos "bueno" han rechazado la llamada por lo que no se han elaborado.

ONLY ONE PATH TO ASSURED SALVATION

“I am the way, and the truth, and the life: no one cometh unto the Father, but by me."... “All that the Father gives me will COME TO ME, and whoever comes to me I will never cast out.”… “no one can COME TO ME unless it is granted him by the Father." For "It is the Spirit that quickens [gives life, regenerates]. the flesh counts for nothing."

 

Jesus Christ is the way...

·  into God's presence ·  into God's acceptance ·  into salvation ·  into the true church

·  into heaven ·  into the Kingdom of God ·  into eternal life

Therefore, if a man wishes to enter where God is, he must enter the Door of Christ. A man enters God's sheepfold only through the Door of Christ, for Christ is the only Door into God's presence. Things are controlled and happen as God means them to happen. The purpose of God is being done. He is God;  He rules and controls all things

          The assurance for the believer is God's predestination. It is those whom "the Father gives" that come to Christ. However, the stress is not predestination; it is assurance to the believer. Christ wants believers to take heart and to be assured of their salvation. It is God Himself who has drawn believers, who has moved upon and stirred them to come to Christ. The absolute sovereign will of God is what is emphasized by the selection of those who come to Him for salvation. The idea of “gives me” is that every individual chosen by God and drawn to God must be seen as a gift of the Father’s love to His Son.

The person who comes to Christ is a person who has been drawn by God, a person who has experienced the divine initiative. A man does not act alone and come to Christ by his own effort and energy, not by his own works, whether mental [ii] (thought or will, or labor (good deeds), iii. A man is a dead spirit; therefore, he can do nothing spiritually just as a dead body can do nothing physically. The natural man prefers self and sin; therefore, if a man with a dead spirit is to come to Christ, he has to be acted upon and drawn by God. Both God and man have a part in salvation. How God draws a man is clearly stated. He draws by teaching. The Holy Spirit quickens the gospel to a man's mind so that he sees it as never before. He sees, understands, grasps as never before that "the Father...hath sent" Christ to feed and nourish man (to save and to give him life).

The great majority of people are offended by the fact that God draws and saves man, that man does not save himself. Jesus said: "No man can come unto me, unless it were given him of my Father." iv

 

Jesus was saying:

Þ  No man can come to Him unless God draws and stirs him to come;

Þ  No man belongs to God who has not come to Him;

Þ  No man is saved unless they come to Him;

Þ  All men are lost unless they come to Him.

This fact greatly disturbs people, for they feel that they are good enough and have done enough good to be acceptable to God. Few people think they are lost and doomed to be separated from God; therefore, hearing this fact preached offends them. But note the critical point. The only saved person is a person who has been drawn to Christ by God and who has surrendered to God's pull and movement within his heart.

This is the key, of those drawn by God, how many surrender to Him?  Don’t be deceived for many of what we consider to worst of all beings have been called and have surrendered to God. And many more considered “good” have rejected the call so have not been drawn.

THE HISTORICITY OF JESUS

Cornillius Tacitus (c. 56(7) – 120AD)

Considered one of the greatest historian of ancient Rome, in the Annals XV covers the reign of Nero and the fire of Rome which was blamed on the sect of Christians.[i] 

Nero “. . . ordered the conflagration, the fire of Rome.  Hence to suppress the rumor he falsely charged with great guilt, and punished with most exquisite torture, the persons commonly called Christians . . . the founder Christus, was put to death by Pontius Pilate procurator of Judea during the reign of Tiberius; but the pernicious superstition, repressed for a time broke out again, not only throughout Judea, where it originated, but through the city of Rome also”. (Annals XV 44)

It is commonly believed that this pernicious superstition is in reference to the resurrection of Jesus.[ii]  Scholars generally consider Tacitus's reference to the execution of Jesus by Pontius Pilate to be both authentic, and of historical value as an independent Roman source about early Christianity that is in unison with other historical records … Tacitus was a patriotic Roman senator and his writings shows no sympathy towards Christians.  Andreas Köstenberger and separately Robert E. Van Voorst state that the tone of the passage towards Christians is far too negative to have been authored by a Christian scribe - a conclusion shared by John P. Meier.   Robert E. Van Voorst states that "of all Roman writers, Tacitus gives us the most precise information about Christ".  John Dominic Crossan considers the passage important in establishing that Jesus existed and was crucified, and states: "That he was crucified is as sure as anything historical can ever be, since both Josephus and Tacitus... agree with the Christian accounts on at least that basic fact." Bart D. Ehrman states: "Tacitus's report confirms what we know from other sources, that Jesus was executed by order of the Roman governor of Judea, Pontius Pilate, sometime during Tiberius's reign."  have debated the historical value of the passage, given that Tacitus does not reveal the source of his information  However, Paul R. Eddy has stated that given his position as a senator Tacitus was also likely to have had access to official Roman documents of the time and did not need other sources.
