A prophet is never
persecuted by the world as much as by the professed people of God. Of them Jesus
said, “O Jerusalem, Jerusalem, which kills the prophets, and stones them
that are sent to you...”. Stephen prior to being stoned declared, “You
stiff-necked and uncircumcised in heart and ears, you do always resist the Holy
Ghost: as your fathers did, so do you.”
There is an appointed time for everything. And there is a
time for every event under heaven—(Ecc. 3:1).
As for me, what I
do, I do because the Lord God King of the universe commanded me at a time in
the past. I answer to Him and Him
alone. This has been confirmed on
numerous occasions and again today. How
is not important, but that it was in the presence of two witnesses and again in
the presence of the congregation during the sermon.
As
it is written in Ecclesiastics, there “… is a time for every event under heaven”,
and all events are ordained by the Lord God.
