Introduction
We all
are going to have problems & situations at some point in our lives.
Sometimes they seem to want to overwhelm us to the point that we just want to
get away, sort of take a vacation from them in the hope of escaping from them.
The thing is, one really never can escape or take a vacation from problems,
they seem to just go along with you wherever you go.

The
Bible, Holy Scripture has no words encouraging anyone to get away from their
problems - It probably wouldn’t help anyway - Scripture is too realistic about
the difficulties that are in this fallen world to have us waste our time with a
bunch of hopeless solutions.

What
Scripture does teach us is instead of running from our problems, one should
bring them all, I say again, all, to the Lord.

And
that is exactly what Moses did - He had confronted Pharaoh with the demands of
the Lord, to let His people go and Pharaoh, maybe with a smirk on his face, lay
more work on the Israelis having them make the same quota of bricks only
without any straw for reinforcement.

Pharaoh and his officials. You have put a sword into their hands, an excuse to
kill us!" What

gets in trouble with both sides here in Exodus 6, with Pharaoh & the
Israelis, & complains doubting God’s plan of salvation & God comes back
at him saying “I Am the Lord”. He says it at the beginning of His answer, in
the middle & at the end - (verses 2, 6, 7&8).

John 6:58 Jesus answering the Pharisees, declared Himself to be the “I Am” -I
tell you the truth, before Abraham was even born, I AM! Jesus is saying
that He is God; YAHWEH, He Who Is. Now God’s word says that He, God, is
unchangeable, (Number 23:19; Malachi 3:6; Hebrews 13:8; James 1:17. Jesus then
is the same yesterday, today & forever; He is unchangeable.

So
too we have to understand that every aspect of our salvation is dependent on
Him - Salvation begins & ends with Him - Everything in between, all the
difficulties that arise in the meantime, God will be able to handle it because
He Is The Lord!

So
then, the thing to do is, instead of going away from your problem, your
situation, instead of manning up and facing your problem head on, is to take
rest & repose in the Lordship of God. He & He alone is the answer to
every difficulty --

Some
critics will say that you’re hiding behind your God, you’re being wimpy … darn
right I am. Only He can solve it, only He is in control.

aspect of our salvation; every aspect of the salvation of Israel is & was
dependent upon God because it all came from His grace.

It’s
possible that this is why God allowed Moses to fail at the first attempt with
Pharaoh - You know that if He had been successful, Moses would have gotten most
of if not all of the credit.

first mission was a fiasco & Moses had to take the blame, & everybody
knew that Moses couldn’t lead God’s people out.

was teaching His people to put all of their trust in Him. They learned that
when all else failed the one they could count on was the One who said I

are to place our trust in He who says I Am The Lord.

Whatever
you face, to bring peace “He says I Am The Lord.” When nothing seems to ever go
right, He says “I Am The Lord.” The Lord God calls us all to trust in

Why is
it helpful to turn all problems over to Him? Believe it or not, He is the only

Numbers
23:19 tells us that God isn’t a man that He should lie or change His mind. Has
He said, and will He not do it? Or has He spoken, and will He not make it good?

The
same is true with salvation in Jesus Christ - We can see that salvation in
Jesus Christ is the greatest exodus of all ----

said He came to do the will of the Father - He’s gathered all the wills of
salvation & makes them His.
