EL ASUNTO VERDADERO

Para aquel en quien el Espíritu realmente hace Su morada será discernir la verdad. Para todos los demás todo lo que ocurre es aleatoria, sin un diseño. Allah es un sustantivo árabe parecido a la palabra Dios como es Eli, El, Elohim en arameo, hebreo; todos se utilizan cuando se habla del ser Supremo. El nombre no es el problema, sino quien es la persona que se está adorando.

La Escritura, (la Ley y los Profetas, los Salmos, los Evangelios, las Epístolas y el libro todo el mundo evita, Revelaciones) hablan de un Dios tan diferentes como la noche y el día del Dios que está escrito en el Corán. Aquel en quien mora el Espíritu Santo verdaderamente sabrá quién es realmente el dios del Islam. Sólo puede haber un Verdadero Dios, el otro es un mentiroso. La persona en quien el Espíritu vive sabe quién es el mentiroso, y padre de mentiras. Aquellos en los que el Espíritu Santo no reside no puede conocer la verdad mientras no sea condenado por El.

 

Recuerde lo que dijo Jesús como esta escrito en  Juan 6:44: "Nadie puede venir a mí, si el Padre que me envió no le trajere;" y en Juan 14:6-17: "Y yo rogaré al Padre, y os dará otro Consolador, para que esté con vosotros para siempre , que es el Espíritu de verdad, al cual el mundo no puede recibir, porque no le ve ni le conoce, pero vosotros le conocéis, porque mora con vosotros y estará en vosotros. "

THE REAL ISSUE

To the one in whom the Spirit truly makes His abode will discern the truth. To all others all that occurs is aleatory, without design. Allah is an Arabic noun akin to the word god as is Eli, El, Elohim in Aramaic, Hebrew, all are used when talking of the One Supreme Being. The name is not the issue; it is the person that one is worshiping.

The Scripture, (Law & the Prophets, the Psalms the Gospels the Epistles and the book everyone avoids, Revelations) speak of a God as different as night and day from the God that is written about in the Qur'an. The one in whom the Holy Spirit truly dwells will know who the god of Islam truly is. There can only be one (1) True God. One must be a liar. The person in whom the Spirit lives knows who is the liar, and the father of lies. Those in whom the Holy Spirit does not residannot know the truth until convicted by Him.

Jesus said, John. 6:44 "No one can come to Me unless the Father who sent Me draws him;" and in John 14:16-17 "I will ask the Father, and He will give you another Helper, that He may be with you forever; that is the Spirit of truth, whom the world cannot receive, because it does not see Him or know Him, but you know Him because He abides with you and will be in you."

CIRCUNCIDAR SU CORAZÓN

 

Durante los últimos días he estado reflexionando sobre qué  Pablo explica en Romanos 2:29, "... es un Judío que es en lo interior, y la circuncisión es la que es la del corazón, por el Espíritu..." Pablo decía que Judíos que fueron circuncidados seguían a la letra de la ley de acuerdo con la alianza entre Dios y Abraham. Pablo usa la circuncisión en cuatro formas a significar: a) el propio rito, b) los Judíos como una raza de personas, c) la Antigua Alianza, o d) el Antiguo Testamento, más las tradiciones de los padres. Esta ordenanza fue una señal física exterior de la voluntad de la persona a obedecer a Dios y ser uno de su pueblo escogido. Sin embargo, Dios les dice en Deuteronomio 10:16 "para circuncidar sus corazones y endurecer sus cuellos ya no", en 30:6 Dios les dice: "Por otra parte el Señor circuncidará tu corazón y el corazón de tu descendencia, amando a Jehová tu Dios con todo tu corazón y con toda tu alma”. Jeremías dice a los Judíos a "Circuncidaos a Jehová, y quitar el prepucio de vuestro corazón, varones de Judá y moradores de Jerusalén...”, Jeremías 4:4.

La circuncisión, esa señal física exterior instituido por Dios estaba señalando hacia el nuevo pacto que vendría en efecto con el Cristo Jesús. En la actualidad existe una circuncisión espiritual que es la circuncisión del corazón. Así como la circuncisión pone al descubierto el descubrimiento de las partes ocultas más íntimos, ahora que nuestros corazones están circuncidados nosotros los creyentes nos exponemos, como en el sermón de Juan Wesley, esta circuncisión ". . . nos convence de que somos por naturaleza miserable, pobre, miserable, ciego y desnudo. Nos convence de que en nuestro mejor estado que somos, de nosotros mismos, todo el pecado y la vanidad; confusión, y la ignorancia, y el reinado de error sobre nuestro entendimiento, que no razonables, terrenal, animal, diabólica pasiones ejercer dominio sobre nuestra voluntad, en un palabra, que no hay una parte entera en nuestra alma, que todos los fundamentos de nuestra naturaleza está fuera de curso. Al mismo tiempo, estamos convencidos de que no somos competentes por nosotros mismos para ayudarnos a nosotros mismos, que, sin el Espíritu de Dios, no podemos hacer nada más que añadir pecado sobre pecado, que es sólo Él quien obra en nosotros con su poder omnipotente , ya sea a voluntad o hacer lo que es bueno. siendo tan imposible para nosotros hasta que un buen pensamiento, sin la ayuda sobrenatural de su Espíritu, como a nosotros mismos crear o renovar toda nuestra alma en la justicia y santidad de la verdad " (Sermón 17, predicado en Santa María, Oxford, ante la Universidad, el 1 de enero, 1733)

La circuncisión no tiene ningún valor, lo que es, es la circuncisión del corazón, a nosotros mismos antes de desnudar el Señor Dios Todopoderoso y el saber, y estar convencidos de que no somos nada sin él.

CIRCUMCISE YOUR HEART

For the past several days I have been pondering over just what was Paul  explaining in Romans 2:29, “… he is a Jew who is one inwardly; and circumcision is that which is of the heart, by the Spirit …” Paul was writing that Jews   were circumcised because they followed the letter of the Law in accord with the Covenant between God and Abraham.  Paul uses circumcision four ways to signify:  a) the rite itself, b) the Jews as a race of people, c) the Old Covenant, or d) the Old Covenant plus the traditions of the fathers. This ordinance was an outward physical sign of the willingness of the person to obey God and be one of His chosen people.  Yet God tells them in Deuteronomy 10:16 “so circumcise your hearts and stiffen your necks no longer”; in 30:6 God tells them, “Moreover the Lord will circumcise your heart and the heart of your descendants, to love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul”. Jeremiah tells the Jews to "Circumcise yourselves to the LORD and remove the foreskins of your heart, Men of Judah and inhabitants of Jerusalem. . ." , Jeremiah 4:4.

Circumcision, that outward physical sign instituted by God was pointing towards the new covenant that would come in effect with the Christ Jesus. There is now a spiritual circumcision which is the circumcision of the heart. Just as the physical circumcision lay bare uncovering the most intimate hidden parts, now as our hearts are circumcised we believers expose ourselves,  as in John Wesley's sermon, this circumcision, “. . . convinces us that we are by nature wretched, and poor, and miserable, and blind, and naked. It convinces us, that in our best estate we are, of ourselves, all sin and vanity; that confusion, and ignorance, and error reign over our understanding; that unreasonable, earthly, sensual, devilish passions usurp authority over our will; in a word, that there is no whole part in our soul, that all the foundations of our nature are out of course.  At the same time we are convinced, that we are not sufficient of ourselves to help ourselves; that, without the Spirit of God, we can do nothing but add sin to sin; that it is He alone who worketh in us by his almighty power, either to will or do that which is good; it being as impossible for us even to think a good thought, without the supernatural assistance of his Spirit, as to create ourselves, or to renew our whole souls in righteousness and true holiness.” (Sermon 17, Preached at St. Mary's, Oxford, before the University, on January 1, 1733)

The physical circumcision is of no value, what is, is the circumcision of the heart, to bare ourselves before the Lord God Almighty and know, and be convinced that we are nothing apart from Him.
