So What is Truth? - ¿Entonces Qué es la Verdad?

A simple  biblical definition, the self-expression of God. So truth flows from God, thruth then is theological. Truth  also is ontological, that is, it is the way things really are. When Jesus said of Himself, "I am the truth", which we find in John 14:6, He was making a very profound claim about His own diety.  He was saying that He is God. Remember that when Moses asked God, at the burning bush, what is His name, Moses was told, "I AM what I AM, tell them I AM sent you. " (Exodus 3:14)  What other prophet, founder of religion has and can make this claim?

Una simple definición bíblica es, la auto-expresión de Dios. Así que la verdad fluye de Dios, entonces la verdad es teológica. La verdad también es ontológica, es decir, que es la forma como  realmente son las cosas. Cuando Jesús dijo de Sí mismo: "Yo soy la verdad», que encontramos en Juan 14:6, Él estaba haciendo una afirmación muy profunda acerca de su propia deidad. Él estaba diciendo que Él es Dios. What Are You Looking For?

It is interesting to note that God, the King of Kings, Lord of Lords, the Creator of all that is, who took upon Himself flesh, died and rose Himself from amongst the dead, still did not consider it beneath Himself to cook a little breakfast for the boys.  How many of us think it beneath us to serve others, even our spouses?

Es interesante notar que Dios, el Rey de Reyes, Señor de Señores, el Creador de todo lo que es, que tomó sobre Sí carne, murió y resucitó a Sí mismo de entre los muertos, todavía no se ha considerado a Sí mismo estar por debajo de cocinar un poco dedesayuno para los chicos. ¿Cuántos de nosotros pensamos que es debajo de nosotros  servir a los demás, incluso nuestros cónyuges?

The Factor?

It is advertised as "The Spin Stops Here".  Rightly so; still in all, credit should be given where credit is due.  On commenting from Glenn Beck's book, "The Overton Window", both, Beck and O'Reilly make it a point to inform all that a quote from the book, "a dog will return to it's own vomit", is from Rudyard Kipling.  True it is.  But didn't Kipling get it from Proverbs 26:11 and or 1 Peter 2:22?  They were both written more than a couple, plus or minus, thousand years and change before Kipling.  Look it up!

Así que Dios dijo a Abraham que quien lo bendice (y sus descendientes) Él los bendiga:

Hay tres declaraciones hechas en la promesa divina de bendición a los descendientes de Abraham, Isaac y Jacob.
La primera es que Dios bendiga a los que bendiga a los Judios. Cuando los Estados Unidos arrebató su sede en el consejo de las naciones de Inglaterra, se convirtió en la primera nación en la tierra para otorgar la ciudadanía plena a los Judios.
Los EE.UU. fue el primer país en permitir los Judios voto sin restricciones. Fue la primera nación en reconocer la bendición incomparable el pueblo judío ha sido para la humanidad.

Sin el Jesús judío, no habría el cristianismo. En los Estados Unidosde América, la influencia de los Judios  es enormemente desproporcionada a su número. Conspiradores oscuro puntan  a la "influencia judía en la educación, banca, derecho, medicina, gobierno, medios y entretenimiento como evidencia de una conspiración judía para controlar el mundo. La "influencia judía" en la vida americana es parte de la bendición de Dios sobre Estados Unidos


Por último, Dios prometió que Él "los maldición que os maldicen". La precisión con la que Dios cumplió esta promesa es impresionante. Durante las Cruzadas desde 1095 hasta 1270, Judios en el sur de Europa huyó a España, Inglaterra, Escandinavia y Europa del Este como resultado de la persecución y matanzas en masa de los Judios. Inglaterra resultó ser el lugar equivocado para ir; en 1290 el rey Eduardo I expulsó a los Judios. El rey Carlos II hizo lo mismo en 1394 en Francia.  Irónicamente los Judios encontrado la paz y la seguridad en España y Portugal, mientras que los países se encontraban bajo el dominio musulmán.



En el año 1400, los moros fueron expulsados de España por las fuerzas papales de Europa. En 1492, el mismo día que Cristóbal Colón zarpó hacia el Nuevo Mundo, España expulsó a cualquier Judios no convertidos que habían sobrevivido a la Inquisición española. Esta vez, volvió a huir a Inglaterra, donde la reforma protestante ya les dio la bienvenida.


El imperio global de España duró menos de un siglo después de que expulsó a sus Judios, para ser reemplazado por el Imperio Británico amistoso a los Judios, cuyo alcance extendido a todos los rincones del globo. En 1917, los británicos capturados Palestina de los musulmanes. La Corona Británica ofreció los Judios una patria a través de la Declaración Balfour.


Después de la Primera Guerra Mundial, los británicos consiguieron descifrar la mayoría de sus promesas a los Judios, restringiendo la inmigración judía a Tierra Santa, y en los años desde entonces han recurrido cada vez más la espalda a los Judios que llevó a las grandes bendiciones británica durante más de 300 años.


El Imperio Británico en el que "nunca se ponía el sol" en 1900,  en 1948, perdió su última colonia en Birmania declaró su independencia, y el Imperio ya no existía.


En 1933, Alemania se encontraba entre las naciones más cultas y sofisticadas de Europa. Berlín Antiguo Joya de la Corona de Europa. Los nazis se voltiaron en contra los Judios, junto con la mayoría de Europa Oriental, y luego de 12 años, la joya de la Corona de Europa era un montón de escombros en llamas.


El mundo árabe, que había sido bendecida durante la Edad de Oro, se derrumbó en su actual estado de cosas.  Los musulmanes árabes apoyaron a Hitler, opusieron a la inmigración judía, comenzaron reiteradas guerras contra Israel, niegan a Israel su territorio que le corresponde, y ahora montan una yihad global para terminar el objetivo de Hitler de exterminio total. El carácter retrógrado de la cultura moderna y la sociedad islámica son los frutos de esos esfuerzos.


Históricamente, siempre que los Judios fueron recibidos, esa nación florecio y prospero. Cuando los Judios fueron perseguidos, esas naciones terminaron con dificultad.

Where does the united Stand in regards to Israel - Either for or against. One cannot burn both ends of the candle and not get burned.

So God told Abraham that who blesses him (and his descendents) He wil bless:

There are three  statements made within the Divine promise of blessing given to the descendants of Abraham, Isaac and Jacob. 
The first is that God will bless those who bless the Jews.  When the United States wrested its seat at the council of nations from England, it became the first nation on earth to grant full citizenship to Jews.
The U.S. was the first nation to allow the Jews an unrestricted vote. It was the first nation to recognize the incomparable blessing the Jewish people have been to humanity.

The second is that God promised that in the Jews "shall all families of the earth be blessed."  Without the Jews, there would be no Bible. Jesus came to earth as a Jew. Without the Jewish Jesus, there would be no Christianity. In America, the influence of American Jews is hugely disproportionate to their numbers. Conspiracists point darkly to the "Jewish influence" in education, banking, law, medicine, government, media and entertainment as evidence of a Jewish conspiracy to control the world.  The "Jewish influence" in American life is part of God's blessing on America


Finally, God promised that He would "curse them that curse you." The precision with which God kept this promise is awesome.  During the Crusades from 1095 to 1270, Jews in Southern Europe fled to Spain, England, Scandinavia and Eastern Europe as the resulting in  persecution and wholesale massacres of the Jews.  England turned out to be the wrong place to go; in 1290 King Edward I expelled the Jews. King Charles II did the same thing in 1394 in France. Interestingly, ironically Jews found peace and security in Spain and Portugal while those countries were under Muslim rule.
In the 1400s, the Moors were kicked out of Spain by the Papal forces of Europe. In 1492, on the same day Columbus set sail for the New World, Spain expelled any unconverted Jews who had survived the Spanish Inquisition. This time they fled back to England where the Protestant reformation now welcomed them.
Spain's global empire lasted less than a century after it expelled its Jews, to be replaced by the Jew-friendly British Empire whose reach extended to every corner of the globe. In 1917, the British captured Palestine from the Muslims. The British Crown offered the Jews a homeland via the Balfour Declaration, and a year later, England won the First World War.
After WWI, the British broke most of their promises to the Jews, restricted Jewish immigration to the Holy Land, and in the years since have increasingly turned their backs on the Jews that brought the British great blessings for more than 300 years.
The British Empire upon which "the sun never set" in 1900, had, by 1948, lost its last colony when Burma declared independence, and the  Empire was no more.
In 1933, Germany was among the most cultured and sophisticated nations in Europe. Old Berlin was Europe's Crown Jewel. The Nazis turned on the Jews, together with most of Eastern Europe, and 12 years later, Europe's Crown Jewel was a pile of burning rubble.
The Arab world, which had been  blessed during its Golden Age, collapsed into its present state of affairs.
The Arab Muslims supported Hitler, opposed Jewish immigration, waged repeated wars against Israel, deny Israel its rightful territory, and now mount a global jihad to finish Hitler's goal of total extermination. The backward nature of modern Islamic culture and society are the fruits of those efforts.
Historically, wherever the Jews were welcomed, that nation flourished and prospered. Where the Jews were persecuted, those nations floundered.

Interruption

God said to Abraham, those who "bless you, I will bless..."  I am going to interrupt here, listening to Megyn kelly and her guests on Fox, they are no different than the "announcers" on the other news networks.  Maybe because I'm getting older, they all seem to be acting like elementary school kids with equal mentality.  The only one with any sense would be Judge Napolitano, and Glenn Beck.  The other networks and cable, they are just foolish talk shows.

Can Principle and Pragmaticism be analogous? / ¿Puede Principio y Pragmaticismo ser análogo?

If we are in search of the truth, do we stand on principle or do we stand on pragmaticism?
If we say that we are pragmatic, then which of the three possible views is the correct?
a). ... Search for a belief, in searching for a belief is searching for the truth... truth being the consequences/result of "experiment method" (the search);
b). ... Instead of the consequences of the search, the "effects" of the belief in the private and personal life of an individual ... that is to produce "ideas" that will satify one's needs and desires;
c). ... In search of a truth, one finds that "something" is not a truth until that something is verified to actualy "be". That is, something having occurred/happened on a specific day or time is not true until it has been verified as having occurred, then it is not a truth at the time of occurrance but at the time of verification.

Can one know truth through pragmaticism, if so, then the pragmatic is either a relativist or agnostic. That being the case, can a relativist or agnostic know what truth is?

Si estamos en busca de la verdad, ¿nos ponemos firme en principio o en pragmaticismo? Si decimos que somos pragmáticos, ¿cuál de los siguientes tres posibles puntos de vista es el correcto?

a). ... Búsqueda de una creencia: la búsqueda de una creencia es la búsqueda de la verdad ... la verdad es las consecuencia / el resultado del método de "experimento" (la búsqueda);
b). ... En vez de las consecuencias de la búsqueda: los "efectos" de la creencia en la vida privada y personal de un individuo ... la cual es la producción de "ideas" que satifsface las propias necesidades y deseos;
c). ... En busca de una verdad, se encuentra que "algo" no es una verdad hasta que ese algo sea verificado que realmente "es algo". Es decir, algo que ha ocurrido/sucedido en un día específico no es verdad hasta que se haya comprobado que ha ocurrido, entonces no es una verdad en el momento de incidencia, pero en el momento de la verificación.

¿Se puede conocer la verdad a través pragmaticismo, si es así, entonces lo pragmático es o bien un relativista o agnóstico. Siendo así, ¿puede un relativista o agnóstico sabe qué es la verdad?

Wise Leaders

History has had many rulers who were not concerned about right and wrong. They placed around themselves evil men as advisors - flatterers, time-servers, sycophants - They told the ruler just what he wanted to hear.

Then at the end when all the people cheered, and the emperor turned a corner and a litlle boy shouted, "But he doesn't have anything on." - The weavers had made a fool of the prince, that's what he deserved for suttounding himself with liars.
