GRACE: MUST BE FREE
When man seeks to gain eternal life by his
deeds, he is not accepting the free
gift offer of God. Eternal life is obtained
by "grace" alone.
"... And if it works, it is no longer grace." Romans 11:6b.
For by grace you have been saved through faith, and that not of yourselves: it is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man should boast," Ephesians 2:8 '9.
God offers the gift of eternal life by attempting to win through
their works. Save to save the Ten Commandments is to fall from grace.
"Christ is become of no effect unto you, whosoever of you are justified by the law; ye are fallen from grace.” Galatians 5:4
Therefore, trying to gain eternal life through works is to reject the only way how God offers eternal life, that is, by his grace. And
when one rejects it, one is choosing to suffer eternal
damnation.
